How long does a blinds installation take?

Most blinds jobs are finished in less than a day, so a whole property of roller blinds is normally a single visit and the property is only out of action for part of a day. Roller blinds can usually be installed within a week of approval when the fabric is in stock, and other blind types within two to three weeks.

What are dual blinds and are they worth it in a rental?

Dual blinds are two blinds on one window, most commonly a blockout roller for night and a sheer for day. It is the most requested combination Investa Projects installs, because it gives a tenant privacy at night without blocking the light during the day.

Dual blinds means two blinds on one window. This is very common with roller blinds, as often people like to have a blockout blind for the night-time which doesn’t let any light in, and a sheer blind for the daytime which lets you see the world.

When having dual blinds (the best of both worlds) we can do this either way – you can have one blind on the face of the window frame and one blind in the recess, or in some cases you can have a special dual bracket on the face of the window with both blinds attached.
